This past Saturday I ran the COOLEST race of my life … the Color Run.
There was so much hype about this race. I’ve read about lots of bloggers who have done this race in the past. I waited patiently until it was finally my turn.

My friend and I arrived in our whites, ready to run.
We were both so excited. Seeing about 1,500+ other people in their whites only added to the excitment. The atmosphere was amazing.
We were in the 6th corral. It seemed like it took forever to get up there, but I think that’s because I’m impatient. The race was run really well and they were very organized with starting corrals.
It was finally our turn and we took off. My friend and I were in the 10% that actually ran the race! There were some who were with their kids, who, by the way, were having the time of their lives. But most people who walked did so with beverages. Yep, those kind of, let me take my water bottle with me even though it’s brown, drinks. I love my city.
The crowd was amazing. It was a blast!
At the end of the race, there was this amazing after party. The music was blaring, the emcee was beyond entertaining and every so often them would have a color throw.
SO. MUCH. FUN.

Omigosh it sounds like you had a wonderful time! A bunch of my friends did that run in SF! To be honest, the idea of all the powder thrown in my face freaks me out a bit haha but it does sound fun!
