This morning was my first easy run. It was fantastic, albeit the 52 degree weather. I’m such a brat when it comes to the perfect running weather. #SouthernGirlProblems.
Remember how I couldn’t find my nano or headphones … well, I also could not find my running watch. I was annoyed by this the most since my goal is to keep the correct pace. I pretty much ripped up my apartment yesterday, and couldn’t find anything. I was thinking maybe one of the air conditioner workers may have taken it, but I also can’t find a foot cream I spent a pretty penny on. Maybe I’m just losing it. Actually … I’m pretty sure I am, as you will see.
Sorry to keep rambling.
I ended up re-loading the RUNtastic app on my iphone and running with that so I would know my distance and overall pace. Because it was early in the morning and I was freezing, I didn’t spend the time outside trying to figure out how to show my pace the entire time, so I went by feel and waited until after mile 1 to hear … 11:46. On point.

I thought I maintained by speed for mile 2, but ending with an average of 11:39 leaves me to believe I sped up. 5 seconds faster than what I was supposed to be doing for my total run, but for me, it was close enough.
It doesn’t surprise me that I picked up speed for mile 2. I always pick up my speed at the end of a run, whether or not I try. It’s a habit. I’ll just have to try a little harder to break this habit. Totally doable!

I also realized once I got back home, that I cheated myself a mile. Another thing I need to work on … paying attention! Like I said, maybe I am losing it.
Overall it was a great run, even if I ran only 2 miles! No pain at all. I felt amazing during and after a run!
Now, I just feel like a bottomless pit.
Are you hungrier after you run?
Have you ever lost a few items in your home at once? Where did you find them?
Clearly, I’m desperate for ideas … nothing was in Sydney’s hiding places!
Xoxo.
