Happy Monday and welcome to the first day of my FAVORITE month!
To start the week out right, I made my workout schedule and planned my meals. While I wasn’t able to get to the grocery last night due to a late night flight back from Denver, I am prepared for when I hit the store tonight after work. I have a recipe for a kale, beet and sweet potato salad. Not sure if I’ve ever been so excited to try a recipe.
Back to workouts.

Yes, I realize there is a lot of Pure Barre this week. The explanation is two fold.
This past weekend I was in Denver for Pure Barre training {a post on that coming soon!}. I’m going to be a Pure Barre Instructor at the Metairie, La location with it opens this November! Ekk. Until I start teaching, I want to take as many classes as I can to help me become the best Instructor I can be. Yes, I realize I’m an over-achiever. It’s part of my charm.
Another reason I’m taking so many classes …

Y’all know I can’t say no to a challenge!
What do your workouts look like this week?
Anyone else in the New Orleans/Mandeville area want to do the Pure Barre challenge with me? If so, sign up HERE. Oh! And let me know! I’m all about support systems!
Xoxo.

Lucky! I’ve been wanting to try barre forever now and there’s no places close to me (drat) Feel free to join a weekly workout linkup on my page (along with 2 other friends of mine) too! http://t.co/VgxfrRY3
Thanks for the linkup idea! I did it :)
You can always try the Pure Barre DVDs. That’s what I did before I attended class. The DVDs are just as hard!!
I have been wanting to try barre so badly!!! Im like super scared tho! Haha I’ve never taken a class before! Happy Monday! Spa love!
You should try! Don’t be scared :) Pure Barre is a totally body workout driven by music – it is a mix of weights, pilates and barre. So good!
How exciting! I wish I could take one of your classes.
I wish you could too! Guess that just means y’all have to take a trip to NoLa :)
Hi there, I am hoping to audition for a new studio opening soon, and I wanted to get some info/advice. I have taken over 50 PB classes, but want to know more about the audition process and training. Did you get professional headshots taken for your audition? How many days was the training in Denver – was is super intense? Thanks so much!
K
My friend is a photographer, so she took a shot for me, but you shouldn’t need a professional headshot. As for training, you will have to talk to your studio owner about that, it varies. But I will say while it was very intense, I loved every second of it! Good luck!!!
