With the whole IT band bothering me issue, I’ve been looking for other ways to add some cardio into my fitness routine. Walking is one of those ways.
New Orleans is such a beautiful city, so usually I take long, yet fast paced, walks down St. Charles Ave. {the streetcar line}, on the levee, around the Fly or in Audubon Park. Plain ole’ walking, however, can sometimes get a little boring, similar to running.
To beat the boredom, Monday morning I created a little walking pyramid routine for the treadmill.

My booty was on fire when I was done, well it was already on fire from Zumba {squatting an entire song} on Saturday, but this routine added to it. I love when muscles burn!
It was a great exercise and time flew by since I was changing the incline every two minutes.
Do you walk? Or just run? Or do a mixture of both?
