Hey y’all!
With half marathon training in action …

Faster than my scheduled pace. Ekk!! It felt easy and right, so I went with it!
… it’s time I start taking care of myself off the track.
Strengthening my core is one of the many ways I train for a race off of the track. Since I missed my core training last night {via Pilates at Romney}, I took to Tone It Up and saved to my phone the following workout for this evening:
Bring it.
Are you concerned with strengthening your core when racing?
Even if you don’t race, do you ever focus on your core?

What training plan are you following? I am running the GulfCoast Half in October (Mandeville) and have created a plan, but would love to have one that gave me target paces to hit for my runs.

Aww! Have fun!! I wanted to do that one, but went with the Jazz Half because it’s closer to home. Maybe next year!
When I trained for my first half marathon I didn’t think to train my core.. but I wish I had.. I got very jiggly all around cuz I wasn’t strength training!
Next time I will :)
