Happy Monday everyone!
Ok fine, it’s not that happy. I’m exhausted and my entire body is killing me. It took everything I had to run 4 miles this morning with Blakely. But after the weekend I had … totally worth it!!
Friday night was pretty lame. New Orleans pretty much flooded, so I made the executive decision to stay in and catch up on Dexter Season 6. So worth it!
Saturday, well that’s when things started to get fun.
My friend Niki and I knew we wanted to grab dinner somewhere, but weren’t sure where. She suggested we play tourist in the french quarter. I loved that idea!
After a few beverages and a beet salad split between to two of us, we headed to Green Goddess for dinner … until we were passed by a highly intoxicated fellow, in a suit, asking how to get to a reception hall. He also asked if we were going to the wedding reception. We giggled and continued towards Green Goddess …
until we changed our minds and decided to crash the wedding.

We only live once … so why not?!
Oh … don’t believe that’s where we really were? I knew you’d think that, so I snapped pictures of the bride’s and groom’s cake for #proof.

It was SO AWESOME!!
We didn’t stay the whole time – I started to get a little paranoid even though the wedding was massive!
… and that was just my Saturday.
Sunday, Elizabeth and I went fishing in Pierre Part, Louisiana. Absolutely beautiful.

Our worm bait. I refused to touch it, but gladly snapped a picture!

I’ll admit it, we didn’t catch this fish. But that’s no reason for us to not use the fish for photographs … acting like we caught it ourselves, right?
There is SO MUCH I want to tell y’all about this trip, but because we went with a director of a reality t.v. show that’s still being filmed and interacted a lot with the cast, I can’t say much until the show premiers.
No. Haha. We will not be on the show.
But the people who are … I absolutely LOVE each an every one of them!!

The main character, who is so proud of himself, even autographed my gator for me … and offered to take Elizabeth and I on a swamp tour to see real life gators!!
Y’all know how much I LOVE gators.
We are totally working on dates right now!!
So yes, it was an amazing weekend and totally explains why I am feeling the way I am this morning.
Oh, and p.s., when you put “‘Tee” in front of something, it means little. For instance, there is a Monkey and a ‘Tee Monkey (yes, these are real life names). ‘Tee Monkey is Monkey’s son. We were informed that while ‘Tee means little, it doesn’t literally mean little … hence, my ‘tee weekend!
How was your weekend?
Have you crashed a wedding?
Are you a fan of fishing?
Xoxo,
