So the dress code for the art gallery party I attended Saturday evening was, “Dressy casual. You know cocktail attire.”
What?!
Clearly the lady had no clue what she was talking about as those are two different things.
In a frantic I searched at least four local New Orleans boutiques for something to wear.
…. finally on my last stop before I gave up hope, I found THE outfit.
Dress: Honey Punch, $49 from a local boutique
Bandeau Bra: unknown because there was no tag, $25 {similar and similar}
Bracelets: Gold: Bardot Spiral Bangle, my Stella & Dot website, $49
and Teal and Gold: J.Crew Outlet, $20, old
Earrings: Chantilly Lace Chandelier Earrings, my Stella & Dot website, $49
Wedges: Bamboo, $35 from a local boutique
Luckily, the outfit was absolutely perfect for the evening. Love when that happens!!

Dressy Casual and cocktail are totally different! I can’t believe they would use both words to describe the dress code. Regardless, you look amazing in your dress! That color is gorgeous on you!
