I know, I know, Monday’s aren’t usually that happy. I think I’m still on a high from this past weekend!
Speaking of which, this past weekend I …
1) Chopped 3 inches off my hair.
It feels amazing!
I wasn’t sure how the ombre would look after, since I wasn’t adding more ombre, but I absolutely love how it came out!
2) Attended an art gallery party.
p.s. fashion post tomorrow on this outfit!
The owner was named Perfecto. No, I’m not making this up.
I mean look at the glitter on the floor! Of course his name is Perfecto!
Everyone we met asked us if we were in to art. Hmmm. Why would we be there then? Needless to say, it wasn’t the best party, but Elizabeth and I worked with what we had!
3) Set up a potential fishing trip in the swamps.
After the gallery party, Elizabeth and I walked to Pat O’s.
We met a group there from New York, who are here in Louisiana filming some reality t.v. show out in the Louisiana swamps. Don’t worry, we helped ourselves to the pictures on their phones. They are legit.
Well, Elizabeth convinced them that they want to take us fishing.
I love my life.
4) Started a new book.
It was a pretty busy weekend until about 1pm yesterday, when all I wanted to do was relax. Nothing good was on t.v., and then I remembered that Jenn from Peas and Crayons suggested some books on her blog a few weeks ago.
I started Daughter of Smoke and Bones. SO GOOD!!
Can’t wait to finish, hopefully, tonight!
