For the month of July, Jen has a Fun, Food & Fitness theme, so here it goes …
FUN.
This past weekend I played a game of pool with some friends. I warned everyone I sucked, but no one believed me … until I proved them wrong.
Note: that ash tray wasn’t our!!
While I could hardly hit the white ball farther than 2 inches, it was still a really fun game!! I kept trying to convince Genia to play, even though her arm is in a sling from the 4th.
p.s. apparently, she did get hurt – but it’s ok, we are all laughing about it. You have to admit, it makes a pretty awesome story.
FOOD.
Yesterday’s eat, minus dinner at my parents’. I’m really feeling the hard-boiled eggs again {I only eat the whites!}.
M1: oatmeal, M2: banana & 3 hard-boiled egg whites, M3: kale salad with yogurt blue cheese dressing {35 cals for 2 tbsp!!} and smoked chicken breast, M4: chocolate chip cookie {I was craving it SO bad! I’m pretty sure I talked to my friend Elizabeth about how I wanted one for at least 15 minutes, until I decided to get one! Haha.} and un-pictured M5: 2 turkey sausage and various fresh fruit and veggies.
FITNESS.
K&K of TIU released a super fun, yet killer workout yesterday. They challenged us to get through it 3 times … I made it 2. Looks like someone needs to take the strength training up a notch!
My booty is sore, and I absolutely love it!!
Well, I’m off to drop Sydney off at day camp before heading in to work. Do I tell them they should expect her to be wild and crazy? She has been a little out of control lately!

I suck at pool, too. After 1 drink, I loosen up and get a little better. After 3 drinks, I’m worse than when I started.
