It’s a new month, which means new goals, new dreams, new ambitions! And there is something about the fresh start of a month to get things started.
SO, this July I will …
1) Drop 8 pounds. period.
I have not been doing well with the Four Month Bestie Challenge. I’ve gained back everything I lost the first few weeks. I’m so over this battle.
Enter something I hate to do, but don’t know what else to do …
Use the Lose It App to keep track of calories coming in. I’ve been busting my butt in the gym, so I have to be eating more than I think I do.
Thinking about it though, change is uncomfortable and we do what we have to do.
Sooo … I will be sucking it up for the next 31 days.
2) Not have ice cream, fro-yo, french fries, pizza or queso for ONE month.
This is pretty much in line with goal number 1, but looking back at pictures from the last month, I think the above treats are the main culprit.

1 scoop of cake batter gelato & 1 scoop of brownie gelato
While I love these treats they are also not Tone It Up friendly. Being honest with myself, weight loss isn’t easy. I don’t plan on giving these treats up forever … I’d be crazy to do that!
BUT for the next 30 days … they don’t exist to me ;)
3) Sign up for the Disney Princess Half-Marathon on July 10.
But who should I dress up as?
4) Sleep more.
The last two weeks I’ve been struggling to get up in the morning. I’m sure it’s the result of increasing my physical activity.
Sleep is so important to health, both mental and physical.
So this month I’m going to try to go to bed 30 minutes earlier than usual.
Sleepy Sydney agrees.
5) Spend less.
Honestly, I’m so over saying stick to my budget! Haha. So, this month … I will just try to spend less, save more. Period.
