Happy May everyone!
I’m not going to lie, I’m super excited today is May 1st. The fact that Insurgent is available today may or may not have something to do with said excitement.
On their monthly calendars, the Tone It Up ladies usually ask that we come up with goals at the beginning of the month and share them with everyone so that we are held accountable. While I have not seen the May calendar yet, I decided to get a head start!
So what’s up for this month?
1) Try more workout classes!
I love workout classes. Maybe it’s because they have people taking class with me and since I’m super competitive, I try to go faster than others or make sure my form is perfect compared to others … which results in a better workout for me.
Tonight I start with Zumba!
I really hope I look this smooth …
2) Watch less t.v.
It’s spring time and the weather is beautiful! I need to be outside whether I’m running, walking Sydney or on my porch reading a book.
3) Build up my long runs to 7 miles.
Currently, I’m at 5.25. Totally doable!
4) In line with the Four Month Bestie Challenge, drop at least 4 pounds.
Pretty much this goal has me dropping a pound a week. Bring it!
5) Save more money.
There are so many exciting opportunities ahead that I don’t want to miss out on because I went overboard at Target or the grocery. So this month, I will stick to my budget and start saving every single penny I can.
