Y’all are the best! Thanks for your thoughts on yesterday’s post!
Speaking of diets/lifestyles, inches around my body and the numbers on my scale have not been dropping, and I know why. I’m not eating right. Plain and simple.
I’m not quite sure what has gotten in to me … adding some cheese here and there, not following the Tone It Up meals outline, planning to eat something good and healthy and instead devouring either too much and/or something I shouldn’t be eating (ex. chips, cookies, etc.)
The funny thing is, I laid down the rule of only eating at the dinner table. WHY haven’t I done this?
I’m tired of it. I’m tired of my clothes not fitting. I’m tired of not feeling right.
I think we all have a breaking point where we just can’t take things as they are anymore, and know that we need to make a change.
I’m at my breaking point. Fact.
I realized this last night and took to pinterest for some motivation, and wanted to share what I found just in case you are experiencing or have experienced what I’m going through.
Gotta love pinterest!
{I’m not fat, I just LOVE the idea behind this statement}
Have you ever been to your breaking point {it doesn’t necessarily have to do with weight}?

I absolutely LOVE ‘if you havent been working for it then maybe you dont deserve it’. TRUE words.
I found REALLY upping the fibre content of my meals (tonnes of beans & flax & prunes & figs etc) REALLY helps kick starts any weight loss. I dont ever (totally like you) NEED to lose weight in any way.. i just start to feel a bit fluffy sometimes and I find upping fibre to be the greatest kickstart to a 3 day mini slim down.
GD luck girl!!! xoxoxo
What a great idea! I think I will try that, and report back :)
I have been before when it comes to weight, a couple of years ago, I was SOOO frustrated with the scale not moving down. Unfortunately I turned to unhealthy ways to finally get it to go down and was very restrictive, but as long as you maintain balance and take in enough healthy eats I’m sure you will get to where you want to be! And don’t forget your amazing fitness accomplishments – half marathon, anyone?
Thanks Caitlin!!
Girl I get it!! I’ve been feeling that way too lately! Mostly eating the right things just too big of portions! Plus I haven’t been exercising as much and I think that really affects the flab too! Here’s to us both getting back on track! (Though you did just complete a HALF MARATHON! That is a huge accomplishment to be very proud of!!)
Oh girlie, I have totally been there! Breaking points can be totally necessary–I just always try to think of them as awesome opportunities to change things up! I like to think about small changes to not completely overwhelm myself–increase water drinking and veggies, decrease dessert after every meal (can you tell I have a MAJOR sweet tooth!). Love you!!!
Love the pinterest pics! Keep at it! Hang those sayings all over the house :)
